{"id":1738,"date":"2023-06-12T16:37:25","date_gmt":"2023-06-12T15:37:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/creativeideasfactory.co.uk\/apa\/?post_type=projects&#038;p=1738"},"modified":"2023-06-12T17:37:19","modified_gmt":"2023-06-12T16:37:19","slug":"olympia-exhibition-centre-west-kensington-london-w14-various-external-internal-projects","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/creativeideasfactory.co.uk\/apa\/projects\/olympia-exhibition-centre-west-kensington-london-w14-various-external-internal-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Olympia Exhibition Centre, West Kensington, London, W14 \u2013 Various External &#038; Internal Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">APA were appointed as Project Managers and Contract Administrators for overseeing various external roofing and repair and redecoration projects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These included the installation of a new glazing overlay system to the Grand Hall east fa\u00e7ade elevation, which included the erection of an extensive scaffolding to the fa\u00e7ade and the internal areas to facilitate access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also project managed an extensive array of roofing contracts, including the overlaying of 2000m\u00b2 of the existing mastic asphalt coverings serving the Central Hall of the Olympia Exhibition Centre with a cold-applied roofing system; renewing the single ply membrane serving the west elevation of the Grand Hall, which involved a comprehensive scaffolding system, and application of a cold liquid system to the central galley \/walkway areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the above, the works also included the repair and redecoration of the east elevation of the Grand Hall via abseil methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to working carefully alongside the site project team to work within tight timeframes between exhibitions, we also coordinated the internal refurbishment of various areas of the exhibition centre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1739,"template":"","categories":[12],"class_list":["post-1738","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-project-management"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/creativeideasfactory.co.uk\/apa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/1738","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/creativeideasfactory.co.uk\/apa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/creativeideasfactory.co.uk\/apa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/creativeideasfactory.co.uk\/apa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1739"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/creativeideasfactory.co.uk\/apa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1738"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/creativeideasfactory.co.uk\/apa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1738"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
